Awesome, I'm almost tempted to give it a 4th star. No ground contact at all, neither roots nor stones. All variants down to the valley are very easy to ride. The Osterhorn group has been literally covered in snow over the last 2 weeks

Hammer! 50-70 cm of cold, fluffy, mega blower pow! It doesn't get any better than this, that's all you can say.

Risks

Visibility was relatively poor and we were mainly in wooded areas. It was safe there, I can't say what it was like on open slopes. I could make out a few sliding snow cracks from a distance. There was also some wind at the top, with all the fluffy snow it was certainly tricky, I don't know if I would sign the LLB (LWS2) like that... Tomorrow we'll have to be careful and wait until the stuff has settled!

Overall impression

Great, finally some real powder again without a "handbrake". Actually a complete escalation today - it's just a shame that the runs in Gaissau are quite short. Tomorrow we'll look towards the Hochkönig

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
