Certainly one of the best powder days of the season

I can hardly judge how much foundation it had before the snowfall. However, I can say that with the current precipitation, it was possible to plow through the undergrowth without any contact with the ground.

In the morning still the finest everywhere, light and airy. From midday onwards, however, much heavier and damp at lower altitudes (1,400m).

Risks

The SLF has issued a "severe" triple, which is in line with my assessment. The wind influence of the last few days is clearly visible. Some of the ridges have been completely blown off and there are plenty of drift snow packs. We avoided the old snow problem with a defensive route choice.

I'm almost inclined to award five stars for this filling morning, but I'll hold back and hope for even more hearty days to come. But today was more than a good start

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
