Snow condition

In the Averstal / Hinterrhein there is plenty / a lot of snow, the last fresh snow was on 5.03 / approx. 30 - 40 cm

Snow quality

from dream to nightmare depending on the slope exposure. The wind in the high altitudes has partly shifted the powder snow and put a lid on it (slab powder) in some northern cirques there is still well consolidated powder snow, even without a lid - or the finest firn on the south side (morning / noon).

Risks

LWS Moderate, but strong sunlight can cause small to very large wet snow slides on steep grassy slopes to the south. In places, windblown drift snow accumulations in hollows and gullies are critical

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

3 super days with good to mega good runs in a secluded mountain region. More pictures and information will be available in a tour report in the next days

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
