Exposition
Snow condition
The second snow of the season is absolutely enough to enjoy the first turns. Definitely on the right slope ;) Depending on the expo, between 5-35 cm of fresh snow.
Video
Snow quality
In the beginning and where there was a slipstream, there was really nice powder snow!
Risks
Wind intensity: Extreme (> 60 km/h)
The greatest dangers are currently posed by molehills and fences that have not yet been taken down. Much windier again in the afternoon and snowfall forecast.
Overall impression
We used the morning weather window to open the season on the Schaui. The wind was blowing from the north at night, so the snow conditions on the south-facing slope were better than in the Rotlache. It's always especially nice when my dear colleagues turn up unexpectedly!
