Snow condition
About 20cm of powdery fresh snow. Not too blown over. Partly shark danger on the south side, hardly any on the north side.
Snow quality
Not too blown, but definitely visible wind signs. South-facing powder on hard crust, the shadier the softer the base. On the shaded side with short skin ascents and still some very good snow to be found in the gullies. The south-facing descent in the forest is just about feasible up to around 1800m, but definitely not worthwhile. Also on the shaded side: the higher the powderier and better. Drift snow available. The risk of falling is higher than the risk of burial and should not be underestimated.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: low
Altitude: 1900 m – 2500 m
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Avalanche activity
Dry slab avalanche
Altitude: 2200 m
Overall impression
very good tours possible from the ski area at the moment. If it doesn't get too warm, it will stay that way.
