Snow condition

Still very good snow conditions with no risk of ground contact, even down in the village still >1m on most roofs.

Bad almost everywhere due to wind, sun, heat or all at the same time. You choose the crust. Only on the north (east) side and - even more importantly - in the shade was there still some nice, settled powder to be found, with either rain gullies or avalanche cones at the bottom.

Risks

It's amazing how much snow has come down from the mountain in the last week. We had a good feeling on the shaded side despite the wind. In the sun, the mouths of the gliding snow got bigger and bigger. On our variant, we were glad that everything had probably already gone.

Overall impression

At the end of our weekend, we had chosen a small, lift-supported variant and were rewarded for the short hike out of the area. It was great to ski in the shade and otherwise you could just marvel at the area and the massive avalanches.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
