Snow condition
All the usual descents in the Gleirschtal and Krasprestal valleys are possible. Unfortunately, you have to watch out for sharks in all exposures.
Snow quality
On the north side you can still find beautiful old powder. Where the sun shines, you have to reckon with broken slush. On the flat and moderately steep terrain, there is still some powder on the sunny side. You can definitely have fun, but it's best to leave the handbrake on. In places, there is only a stable cover in the form of windsnow, not melted snow.
Risks
Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)
Wind only in the summit/ridge area. But strong from the east there. Otherwise no danger signs.
Overall impression
Powder on the north side, but also sharks. South-facing broken snow.
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
