Jelly snow

Nothing came of the promised fresh snow last night. Ascended on the south-east side. It was still hard at 2700 shortly after 11am. Up to about 2200 it was already quite soft at 10. On the west-facing descent there was pretty much everything again. Broken snow, easy to ski but already quite wet powder, hard frozen tops. Angular frozen avalanche cones. You're probably better off on the north side and even higher. I used the safe conditions to tick off a nice gully project.

Risks

Diurnal warming
South-East

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Danger signs only on the southeast side, the usual sliding snow cracks this winter and the early soaking of the snow cover

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne
Better

The basis is still good. Depending on how high the snow line is tomorrow, it could get much better or much worse.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
