Variations of snow cover

Very good snow conditions in the Silvretta from Vermunt or Bielerhöhe. Only exposed areas, ridge and summit areas partly blown off and little snow. With caution but stone contact easily avoidable

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust
Powder snow

You have to search for powder and be lucky. Where there was little wind and shade, there was still great powder. But generally a lot of wind influence and wind cover. Snow quality changes from super powder to wind-pressed broken slush within a few meters.

Risks

No warning signs

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

No danger signs. The 2 of the Swiss LLB seems more coherent.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Worse

Brilliant day with distant views, sunshine without wind and powder here and there under the skis. Good snow conditions in the Silvretta

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
