2000 - 2700m
Avalanche warning level
moderate (2)
Exposition
Snow condition
It was sufficient, but stone contact in steeper terrain was unavoidable. However, the basis for future snowfall is now in place.
Snow quality
Un po di tutto. Weak base and slight wind influence on the summit slope, but still great for freeriding.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: medium
Altitude: 2000 m – 2700 m
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
The SLF speaks of an old snow problem, and we saw a few older cracks. The fresh drift snow in the gullies was clearly visible, but stable enough.
Overall impression
With sunshine in the blue sky and powder on the summit slope, it was a great start to the season and the short tour was perfect to get my wide skis moving again.
