Snow condition

It started snowing heavily again last night. About 30-40cm have fallen in the meantime. Unfortunately it's not quite enough for three stars, but I would give it a 2+

Snow quality

Nice fluffy powder snow today. The snow only became heavier on the south side towards midday. But at an altitude of over 2500 meters, the conditions were still perfect in the late afternoon.

Risks

According to the LLB, warning level 3 today, partly not a critical 3. The avalanche situation was very different today. First of all, it wasn't as bad as feared. The wind was probably only very weak up to 2400m. Above that, some snow drifts were visible. One or two fresh avalanche cones were also visible today. However, the snowpack was probably quite stable overall, as there were no accidents today, although there were once again slopes where you can only shake your head.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

Super day today! Definitely even better than yesterday. So 4 stars for the overall situation today.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
