There is actually snow, but above 2200 meters it is no longer where it should be. Brutally blown away. There are actually no real opportunities to ride off-piste.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

At the top, drifting snow of varying quality, further down some compact powder snow (where it was still shady). Well.

Risks

Tricky. If you let your gaze wander, you will see large self-releases in all exposures (probably from Friday) - only the size is different (shady exposures = large, far-reaching cracks) and excellent blasting successes - we let ourselves be tempted once and wanted to drive into rather little frequented, moderate offside terrain. A polyphonic "Wumm" orchestra then made us turn around quickly.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

The second star is for the sun. Otherwise a day to forget (access situation, customer friendliness of the Hochgurgl cable cars, snow)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
