Very good snow conditions, still went well down to the valley (1900). You had to be very stupid to catch a scratch. But the valley resort shouldn't have been much further down. Sölden is already green.

North is fine. The feeder gully from Festkogel was already very wet at 10. The powder was legal up to 2700 and then it was also wet due to the sun. But we were also quite late due to the late lift start at 9.00 am.

Risks

Nya, if you don't ski steep east, south or west faces in the afternoon, you don't really have any problems. At the beginning of the week, after the snowfall at the weekend, we were able to spot a medium-sized slab fall to the west, otherwise there is more of a risk of falling in wet or hard snow.

Went on the tour as described in the PowderGuide Tirol book. It was nice on our descent but unfortunately it was flat light. After the bomb view from the Festkogel, the descent from the Granatenkogel was more like a table firework.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
