Snow report Sölden, Ötztal, 11/18/2016
Föhn in the morning with good visibility and fog in the afternoon, there wasn't much off-piste because of the rocks, but when there was, the snow was great!

Snow condition
Hardly any carpet pad, you had to be afraid of hitting the stones everywhere. A slightly harder layer under about 5-15 cm of fresh snow.
Snow quality
The snow that was there was terrific. Compact snow, but not hard or wet, even a little powdery.
Risks
The avalanche situation was ideal for freeriding, as everything stayed in place and there simply wasn't enough snow yet.
Overall impression
Good skiing day, unfortunately with constant danger of rocks
