No comparison to the Salzburger Land. There is much more snow here. After the road to Sölden was closed due to a rockfall, we climbed the Breite Grieskogel. There's enough snow everywhere, but you still have to watch out for blown-off sections and hidden sharks.
Snow quality
Nice set powder where the sun didn't reach. Otherwise a mix of sun crust and some wind-treated snow.
Risks
The danger lurks in the depths and is covered by snow packs (see photo). You should never underestimate this. Since the snow cover still feels very settled and stable, this could lead to a false perception.
Overall impression
For the plan b quite extensive and far, but great surroundings and still nice turns.
