Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne

Above 2400m about 10cm of fresh powder snow, below 2400m the snow is slightly crusty from the rain but still easy to ski. Further down towards the valley there is little snow away from the pistes and stone contact is to be expected.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Nice powdery, dry powder, especially in the shady slopes above 2500m.

Risks

Due to the strong westerly wind, drift snow accumulations can be found in the corresponding slopes at great heights. A small slab avalanche triggered by a skier with a break-off edge of approx. 20 cm was observed.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

A very good day of skiing consisting of sunshine, at least all morning, powder and lots of good lines in varied terrain.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
