Unchanged from the last report: normally there is probably a lot more snow here, but you can start on parking lots at 400 meters and higher.

Above approx. 800 meters there has been some new and drifting snow over the last few days. Very little at first, then about 10 cm from about 1100 meters on the north side. It's influenced by the wind, but it's nice and even and the snow layer underneath is fast.

Risks

Yesterday, on the way to Togga, I saw some superficial loose snow slides on the north side, but they were small although the terrain was steep. Drift snow was very easy to trigger today. The tour was almost always below 30 degrees, but in hilly terrain we had a crack about 15 meters wide on the descent. However, it stopped again immediately. The problem with this is that the wind and weather here vary greatly on a small scale. That's why you only know whether a slope is feasible or not when you get on it.

Overall impression

The weather and snow conditions were not perfect, but the overall package of light forest, beautiful landscapes and sitting in the sun by the fjord after the tour was perfect

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
