Skitour Verjesteinsnuten zwischen Røldal und Haukeli. Super Spritztour am Wegesrand

Snow condition
Start directly with skis at approx. 1000 meters on the south side. In the lower part, the first stones and grass bushes peek out on the back. Overall, however, there is nothing to complain about here
Snow quality
Super spring conditions. It was still hard on the ascent, but good to go. On the descent (from around 2 p.m.), the snow was evenly hard for a short time until the entrance to the south-facing gully. In the gully it was already very rutted, but soft enough that it was pleasant to ski. Below that, great snow all the way to the car. An extremely hard layer at the bottom and a few centimetres of soft snow on top, almost water. It was so warm that the road shimmered as we drove off
Risks
Similar picture as on the west coast. Lots of wind last week, but now largely stable spring conditions. We were only on the south side though, hard to say what it looks like on the north side.
Overall impression
Cool tour at the end of the long weekend. In terms of downhill skiing, every vertical meter was worthwhile and the snow was good from top to bottom
