Exposed areas blown free by the wind, but contact with the enemy is easy to avoid. Snow cover is sufficient for well-chosen tours in meadow terrain.
Snow quality
10cm pow on reasonably soft compact old snow. Very easy to ski thanks to the cold temperatures.
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Drift snow and cornice break. Due to the lack of autumn snow in the foothills of the Alps, the situation is more relaxed than in the inner Alps.
Overall impression
Nice excursion, a few powdery turns. Lots going on in the Tsl from midday despite the moderate weather.
