The overall snow conditions were quite ok. Some of the sun-exposed steep slopes at lower altitudes were covered in snow before the snowfall. Otherwise there were a few blown-off spots, also far from the crest.

Awesome, really fat bottomless powder in the forest at the Powderträume ski lift this morning. With the 115 medium widths I was almost underdressed and went under from time to time. A slight wind influence in some places didn't bother me at all. It was great to ride and it was dusty.

Risks

With the considerable amount of new snow and wind from different directions (yesterday south and today nw) you have to be careful of course. There's loose snow in the steep terrain anyway. It's difficult for me to judge the situation at the top, as we were only out and about in the forest today.

It's fantastic that so much has come from the long wait. With 30 cm less it would still have been great. It's just stupid that most of the Engadin ski instructors have nothing more to do and of course know exactly where the white stuff is best...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
