Good snow conditions. Towards the Lower Engadine and towards the north, the snow decreases compared to St. Moritz and Maloja. Nevertheless, good snow conditions, you can ski almost everything without hesitation.

I would have given it 5 stars straight away if it hadn't been for the night from yesterday to today. We had perfect set powder in the east-west sectors until a storm started overnight. Now you can still find good powder in the wind-protected areas, but it's generally getting more difficult.

Risks

According to SLF level 2, low binding, sugary snow on the surface which produced a lot of sluff, but held quite well on the old snow. No danger signs in our area. Smaller accumulations of drift snow will have formed in the ridges with the wind. A lot of snow has already come down from the southwest to southeast due to the warm temperatures.

Overall impression

Three days of solitude in the mountains, fantastic terrain and good snow. Unfortunately, the wind put an abrupt end to that.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
