Snow condition
Not bad for the beginning of May. Very good and easy riding up to the valley station. The very rocky terrain around the Corvatsch can be ridden without stones with a little care. Of course, there are large stones everywhere, but these are not a problem. Overall, however, it is certainly below average.
Snow quality
Absolutely perfect on the west and north sides until around 13:00. Buttery soft, creamy powder. About 25/30cm of new snow from yesterday/the day before yesterday, then in sun-exposed positions up to 3000m quite fast soaking. 4 stars in the morning...
Risks
LLB 3: We have not made any observations today. Some loose snow avalanches on the west side, probably from yesterday.
Overall impression
Wonderful day at Corvatsch. Westcouloir and Northface in wonderful condition, and Top of the World was rewarded with 79 francs for 4 open lifts... But anyway, it was worth it.
