Downhill run to diavolezza on the as yet unprepared piste with steinski and a little caution! Good snow conditions for the time of year. The basis is here, hopefully even more next week!
Snow quality
Dreamlike. About 50cm of cold, fluffy powder at the top, without too much wind. Brilliant for riding! About 30 cm of fluffy pow at the bottom. Dusty and feels almost surreal for the time of year!
Risks
Certainly not without. The slf gives it a justified 3 mm. Lots of fresh snow in the last few days and some wind last week. The base isn't great from the first snow either, I suspect an old snow problem here in the shady high areas...
Overall impression
A dream of a day! Faceshots in november, that's what you dream of! More next week with pleasure.
