Snow condition
Thanks to massive snowmaking, you can ski all the way down to the valley. The standard routes from corvatsch can actually be skied. With a lot of feeling and a good snowpack scanner, even without any significant stone contacts. Not everything was tracked today, some of it had already been done for weeks by eager skiers who climbed the 1600h from the parking lot.
Snow quality
Everything from felty residual powder in the shadiest gaps to good, completely built-up, sugary old snow trickling from the sheltered steeps to fine glassy slabs in the main gullies, light to heavy crust in the wind-exposed open slopes and creamy cruiser snow on the glacier slab. After a few descents, it was easy to see where you could let it run. The early winter evening sun showed the way in the alpenglow.
Risks
Well, it's just not enough snow, but the converted snow is already blatant how massively the "trickling out" takes place. As a "latehit" sluff, it's probably enough to pull you off your feet. A real concern if there is a risk of falling.
Overall impression
The first time is always impressive. Especially in such a great environment and atmosphere, you're never really prepared for such an impressive experience. The whole thing in three laps until sunset is really something special.

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
