Snow condition
Little change in the high alpine compared to last weekend. Some fresh snow (approx. 15-20cm) at high altitudes, decreasing rapidly below. Things are generally looking very bad on the south side.
Video
Snow quality
At high altitudes (> approx. 2800m) powder snow on the north side. East/northeast side already wet at 3300m in the morning at 9am. Generally very settled despite fresh new snow. Very wet overall below 2800m. Only the very high elevations on the steep north side are actually worthwhile for tours.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Above 2600m LWS 1, however, the fresh snow (approx. 15cm) could easily be trodden down as a very small board on a hard snow cover when wet. Pay attention to this in exposed terrain (risk of getting carried away). Otherwise, pay attention to wet snow.
Overall impression
Took another nice steep flank and a gully on the Stubaier. Visibility in the morning was very good and you can't complain about the powdery snow either. Once again nothing going on, everyone seems to be stuck in Norway :-)

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
