There's no need to mention that there's a lot going on at the Stubai Glacier on a weekend in early winter, but here are a few pictures from today to document the situation before the snowfall. The pistes are grippy in the morning, but from midday onwards there are large slabs of ice and moguls. Nothing at all next to the piste. As the day progresses, the southerly wind becomes stronger with light snowfall and drifting snow.
