Nice pre-work pre-uni minigolf freeride morning. I think that describes the day quite well. With just under 20cm of fresh snow, the old tracks weren't completely covered. But it was enough for a few runs on the Daunscharten T-bar lift. Everything outside of the glacier base is currently not recommended if you don't want to go shark hunting. The glacier shrinkage over the summer is enormous on the Stubai Glacier. As a result, all freeride opportunities on glacier terrain such as Steilhang or Fernau have disappeared, except for the small area between Daunferner and Daunschartenschlepplift. Currently, there is relatively little freeriding on the Stubai. Nevertheless, of course, everything is dangerous ;) the hype is real... Zuckerhütl has already been tracked through the stone desert last week. See photos.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
