Stone Contact avoidable

The classic freeride slopes are now easy to ski. Thanks to the slightly damp drift snow, you don't sink far into the snow cover - making it easier to avoid stone contact. Further down, nothing is possible off-piste. Overall, still to be enjoyed with caution.

Snow quality

Wet snow
Wind drifted snow

15-20cm of fresh snow, old tracks no longer visible. Over 2600m of drift snow, but easy to ski. Wet fresh snow underneath - not very rewarding to ski off-piste.

Risks

Old snow problem
Fresh avalanches
North North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

The fresh snow is very susceptible to disturbance, some blasting successes visible. Small snow slabs also triggered by skiers. Additional wet loose snow avalanches on sun-exposed, steeper slopes.

Dry slab avalanche

Altitude: 2900 m

Overall impression

Fun day: good drift snow further up & super grippy pistes. Very 'touchy' fresh snow, watch out for avalanches. Further down slushy slopes.
