Snow condition

Good snow conditions. Most of the mountain pines are well snow-covered and there is also enough snow in the dense forest. In the forest below the middle station, it still looked like very little snow from the gondola. The wind has also blown off some of the ridges.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Good, deep powder snow below the tree line. Further up, the influence of the wind was clearly noticeable. There, wind-pressed powder snow and some short sections were hard and blown away.

Risks

Due to the influence of the wind and fresh snow, a lot of drift snow has formed above the tree line. It was advisable to stay in the forest, where there was also much better snow because it was less affected by the wind. The avalanche situation will become much worse again in the coming days.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

There was a lot less track in the silt than expected. This meant there were some nice runs to be had in the forest by lunchtime. Really deep, powdery snow and nice treeruns including pillowlines :)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
