Snow condition
Everything is skiable up to the middle station without any problems. A good 30/40cm of fresh snow. Less fresh snow below the middle station. It has probably rained here from time to time. However, if you make tracks carefully, you can still get back to the car here without any stone contact.
Snow quality
On the south side, the snow was still slightly powdery in the morning. From around 11 a.m. it became too heavy, so we moved into the shade. On the shady side it was very good until around 1 pm, mainly super powder. Later on, you could feel the warmth here too.
Risks
In the forest, the wind influence was low and the situation was relatively safe. On somewhat more open areas, there was more wind influence and drifting snow and therefore restraint was required. We were unable to observe any departures (neither spontaneous, blown up nor triggered by winter sports enthusiasts). The snow cover has already settled relatively well due to the influence of the sun. Towards the afternoon, moisture penetration became a problem on the south side.
Overall impression
Gorgeous weather, great crew, good atmosphere and enormous broadcast potential! Very close to the 5th star but the snow was a bit too heavy for that;)
