Still good snow conditions. Pines well snowed in and no ground contact even in the forest.
Snow quality
The fresh snow fell in cold temperatures and was quite fluffy. The only drawback was the amount, under the approx. 10-15cm of fresh snow you could mostly get through on a hard crust. There was a little more fresh snow on the north-eastern slopes and there was no hard layer of old snow there.
Risks
Relatively stable old snow cover and not much fresh snow. However, I was only out in the trees today, it can look different again in the high Alps with possibly more wind.
Overall impression
Cozy day in the Schlick. Unfortunately less fresh snow than was forecast, but it was still enough to have fun. Found a few deeper runs at the end with a good nose :D
