Snow condition

The snow conditions are good, you can ski all the way down to the valley and the entire forest is skiable up to approx. 1300 m.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

We tried to make good use of the little snow we had, but unfortunately only about 10-15 cm fell overnight. Unfortunately, that's not enough and you can really feel the base. The fresh snow itself was cold and powdery, but due to the wind it was already partly blown away.

Risks

There were some spontaneous avalanches as well as avalanches triggered by blasting. At the high Burgstall, for example, there were clear signs of wind. The avalanche situation therefore remains tense in steeper terrain.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

According to the forecast, we had hoped for something like a powder day. Unfortunately, nothing came of it as there was not enough fresh snow. But 2 stars as we had good weather and there was actually nothing going on.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
