The snow conditions are very good. Only the ridges are still quite blown away. The Schauflspitze, for example, is quite poorly filled - that was more this season. The variants into the valley at 1600 m altitude are all going very well.

Wind, warmth and sun have done a great job and you can find almost all forms of snow. Over 2800m of settled but still cold and easy to ski powder. Underneath it often became soft and frosted again. Where the wind was able to get in, there were also lots of slopes.

Risks

According to the LLB, level 2 in North Tyrol. Just over the border in South Tyrol, level 3. The problem still seems to be all the snow that fell with the storm last weekend. We haven't seen any snow slabs. But on the south side from very steep terrain a base avalanche and a wet snow avalanche.

High was a good decision today. We found the best snow on the shaded side between 2800-3200m. But here, too, we need to resupply, because everything is already pretty well groomed.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
