Snow condition
There is still enough snow from the parking lot, with some rock contact on the descent due to the wind. Glacier perfectly snow-covered. In the main valley, the south and the valley floor are apertured.
Snow quality
Changing, powder in the north, also good to ski lower down despite the warmth of the foehn. On the other hand, also hard snow and wind crust on east and west-facing slopes.
Risks
Gliding snow mouths visible. Drift snow was less relevant on our routes. Moisture penetration and corresponding slide on deeper south-facing slopes.
Overall impression
Beautiful tours, good hut with great food and good organization. Weather better than expected. Annual trip for the old boys - it was great.
