Well. Not great, but ok. The typical variants and ski tours are possible, and you can usually ski down into the valley. Nevertheless, there is less snow than I would have expected and there is not much snow for mid-March.
Snow quality
There is still some powder snow on northern slopes, but the snow is influenced by the wind everywhere. On ridges mostly windsnow, in hollows and on the glaciers soft drift snow. Melting snow or firn on the east, south and west sides. Very much already tracked.
Risks
Rather relaxed, but today really strong north föhn with snow drifts, so it will probably be more critical again in ridge areas.
Overall impression
Snow quite nice in places. Ok
