At the Franz Senn hut, the stones are now peeking out from the terrace.

Above 2800m there is still powder on the snow side - in places. Below that it becomes a silky must and even further down it just turns to slush. On flat glaciers we found something like firn on the south-east side, which was really cool.

Now it might soon be time for the firn to flourish. But maybe it will be nice with the fresh snow :)
