Overall impression
Snow condition
Not much, but word has gotten around by now. I noticed that very little of the last snowfall has remained. From Ruderhof towards Regensburger it is partly bare in the upper part. A fall wouldn't be cool. Glaciers are already quite passably snow-covered. But caution is never wrong in a bad winter. From Regensburger down you have to carry the last 300m. All in all ok. Just under 3.
Snow quality
Not intoxicating. With sufficient steepness and southern expo it fires up. Otherwise not yet viable - break here. Places wind-pressed and rarely powder but mostly with a light cover. Steep north and high still powder - Schrankogel NW e.g. Ruderhof south does not yet have a stable cover in the upper part. As it looked to me, slight breakage but still quite ok to ride.
Risks
Low risk of slipping snow. The main focus is on daytime warming. In the known regions - low snow, north and high you can still get through to the floating snow. However, this area is low. With very rare variants here vill. still be careful.
Overall impression
Good conditions for touring. Powder is hard to find, firn is easier now. Successful tour, which gives hope for a decent spring.
