Snow report Stubai Valley, 04/27/2017
Blower powder on the glacier with hardly any visibility.

Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
It snowed about 40-50cm at the parking lot at 1600 until our departure in the early afternoon. 20cm since the morning. Well over 70cm on the mountain. We never got through to the middle station. Only in very rocky terrain is it still possible to get through onto the last few bare rocks. We didn't ski down into the valley, but there are tracks to be seen and the snow cover seems sufficient.
Snow quality
Top. cold powder with hardly any wind. Skis like a dream on steep enough terrain. Actually hardly anything to complain about, only a little heavier in the valley, therefore only 4 stars. No noticeable difference in the exposures.
Risks
According to the LLB level 3, we were very defensive on the route without visibility. An assessment is also difficult without visibility. The fresh snow is still hardly affected. According to the LLB, the critical points are also hidden under the fresh snow. However, caution is certainly required with the quantities.
Overall impression
Really good despite hardly any visibility. It has to be steep for the crowd. And with the visibility, trees would be quite good. Both rather difficult to find on the glacier... Therefore only 4 stars.
