Snow report Stubai Valley, 05/09/2016
April weather on the Stubai Glacier
Stubai Valley
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Hardly any change since the last report, but some snow has thawed in the lower areas. With the light rain today, this will continue.
Snow quality
Well. Rain up to about 2700, above that a few cm of fresh snow. On the slopes ok so far, off-piste rather horrible.
Risks
Increasing moisture penetration to watch out for.
Overall impression
Okay for a bit of piste riding, but nothing more.
