Snow condition
The snowfall on Friday was not at all unproductive, but only had a noticeable effect above about 2800m, where it also snowed up the tracks. Otherwise still rather little for mid-May.
Snow quality
Mostly good, if not yet perfect firn. Above about 3200m in very steep north-facing slopes still powder, further down in north-facing slopes often broken snow.
Risks
Rather relaxed, yesterday a lot of fresh snow came down again, so there are many avalanche cones on the slopes again...
Overall impression
Quite nice, even if not intoxicating.
