Snow condition
The snow conditions are modest, well, it's only the end of September, so nobody needs to complain ;) Terrain: It's great just next to the pistes on the glacier! You shouldn't venture further out, crevasses are wide open! Even just below the glacier, you can make your first turns on the untracked pistes with little contact with the rocks. The piste conditions today were like mid-January, really great powder! You can't get through to the ice anywhere.
Snow quality
It has probably snowed a total of 30-50 cm at the top. The snow was fluffy, cold and fell with a bit of wind. Great for driving in any case (see photo ;) ). On the sunny side there was a very slight sting on the NM, but not too tragic.
Risks
The slopes that would have the necessary steepness for avalanches are not skiable anyway due to crevasses or sharks. Otherwise, there are isolated loose snow slides from the sunny sides. You have to watch out for the quite obvious, wide-open crevasses, some of which are already slightly blown over. Some people probably didn't assess the crevasse danger like we did today and so there were one or two hara-kiri lines...
Overall impression
Voigeil! Porn weather, powder and really few people! It can actually go on like this ;)
