Bad, but better than this time last year. There is snow as far as Gamsgarten. Snow has been made up to the middle station but the piste is still closed. Off-piste skiing is only possible to a very limited extent.
Snow quality
Above 3100m 5cm powder layer otherwise wind/rain cover. Partly ice and stones on the piste
Risks
A small slide. But the risk of falling into a crevasse is much higher.
Overall impression
Sunny day. Nice for cruising down the slopes as the people were well spread out but still a lot going on. There were also two nice off-piste turns. It was time to improve my technique on the slopes again. Otherwise enjoying the sun.
