There is only a small amount of snow outside the glaciers. On the glacier, the bare ice still peeks out here and there. The slopes were soft, at least today. Crevasses are still open, of course. All in all, we've had less in the past, but still not much compared to good years.

Strongly influenced by wind in most places. Widespread 10cm. However, here and there maybe 10-20cm come together in wind-protected hollows that are easy to ride.

Risks

Blown-in areas, especially northeast and north, seem to me to be the most dangerous. However, the risk of catching a shark or a crevasse is much higher.

Overall impression

Wetter half day with sunshine and fresh snow to open the season. Maybe the coming snowfall will make one or two projects possible. Relatively little going on for the Stubai. At the moment, however, it is not yet worth traveling from far away to ski in the Stubai

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
