Still not enough. The forecast was promising, but it hardly seems to have snowed after yesterday afternoon. Traces of the previous day were clearly visible. At least it looks wintry now!
Snow quality
The newly fallen snow (~30cm) was atypical for the Stubai with little wind and was exactly what you want it to be. So it could have been really fun, but unfortunately there was just not enough underneath.
Risks
Main danger still sharks and crevasses, otherwise simply not enough or too light snow.
Overall impression
After a good 2 hours, we were back on the slopes, but unfortunately it kept on closing in and visibility got worse. The anticipation was great, but so were the sharks...
The big crevasses were still visible, and a few good turns were possible on the steep slope. We could try again next week!
