Good base right down to the valley, still great powder turns at the top, which then slowly turn into nice turns towards the valley with settled snow on a firm base. All in all, more than enough, as long as you don't ski in the thickest forest...
Snow quality
Actually nothing to complain about except the drifts caused by the wind just above the tree line and the snow at the bottom is not like at the top - powder snow as you would wish for!
Risks
On the south side, as reported by the LWD, you could see a sliding snow slide, for us it was also very little in the last few meters, and could also be seen at the top. Directly below the summit you could also see a small crack. The south side is really to be avoided!
Overall impression
After the last few days of enforced rest, it was really good. If we hadn't got lost at the end, it would probably have been 4 stars. It wouldn't have taken much and we would have gone up a second time because the conditions were so good.
