Snow condition
No ground contact except in very dense forest. Even rivers are deeply covered. Below 1600 m the surface is somewhat poorer, but even there it is still possible to ride

There was some fluffy powder snow, but the overall picture was quite inhomogeneous. At the top, there were wind-blown areas or old snow from the day before. In the sparse forest and in more sheltered places it was really deep and dusty again
Risks
Some easily recognizable drift snow slopes that we were able to avoid. A few spontaneous descents show the current tense avalanche situation due to the wind and fresh snow of the past few days
Overall impression
Beautiful sunrise. Bitterly cold and the very first on the mountain with super snow.
