The snow conditions are quite reasonable, we were able to start skiing directly from Trafoi.
Snow quality
Unfortunately, the snow quality is not the yellow of the egg, powder can only be found on the north side in the forest. Otherwise there is everything from bare slopes, wind-pressed powder to crushed snow.
Risks
We had a level 2 which was already tending towards 1 with a daily increase in the avalanche situation. You could recognize a few fresh snow packs and get around them well, unfortunately the situation worsened on Sunday and the level rose again to 3.
Overall impression
Beautiful, challenging ski tour to the highest point in Tyrol with a breathtaking panorama.
