Exposition
Snow condition
The snow conditions are very poor. On the north side, it is mostly possible to start from the valley. In other exposures, this depends heavily on the topography, but is partially possible. In some places there was no closed snow cover up to 3500m. Even the glaciers are often not covered in snow.
Snow quality
On the lower, sun-exposed slopes, we sometimes encountered the finest firn. Windswept snow often prevailed at higher altitudes. In areas where the wind had calmed down, there was also some good, settled powder
Risks
Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)
Over the last two days, the risk of wet snow and sliding snow avalanches decreased significantly. As we were quite cautious on the trail, we were unable to observe anything else.
Overall impression
Despite the bad weather forecast, it was still quite nice and mostly sunny today. The situation on site will also change with the announced change in the weather.

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
