Slightly above average for mid-June, although of course you shouldn't expect any miracles. Glaciers still quite well snowed in, although the larger crevasses are slowly coming out. Snow also outside the glaciers, especially on the north side.
Snow quality
Well. Very quickly everything becomes muddy, but below about 3000m there is already summer snow, which is not so tragic.
Risks
Watch out for daytime warming, but most of it should be down by now. In the late afternoon with the heavy rain, there were still a few small wet snow slides.
Overall impression
Actually ok, unfortunately a mysterious defect in the gondola, which meant we couldn't go up until 11 instead of 8, by which time it was already muddy on the north side even at 3400m. As a result, there was little to be gained, but it was still ok.
