Totally pointless!

Snow condition
Above 1800m I would have given 3 stars but everything further down off the slopes is not rideable without stone contact. There are also a lot of rain grooves, which make riding difficult.
Snow quality
Above 2000m, the snow is nice and fluffy and pleasant to ski on. But as soon as you get closer to the valley, icy patches and frozen chunks increase significantly.
Risks
The 10-20cm from Thursday have already bonded quite well with the older layer. However, this is very hard and in steeper areas some sluff can be washed away. But this never looked critical for us.
Overall impression
Complete whiteout on the Ameisenscharte. You could still see quite a bit on the ascent, but once we reached the top we could have saved ourselves the trouble. As the forecast for tomorrow isn't much better, I'm giving myself the day off.
